I was approached by Adams + Petersen to refresh their branding and make it more simplified and modern. They didn't want to stray too far from the previous mark, with the simple A and P. I elected to replace the ampersand with a plus, as it feels more iconic. Rather than continue with the horizontal slices used in the previous mark, I made a subtle nod to that with the diagonal slice between the A and the P. 

Kanit Bold was the font I chose, mainly because it's a sans serif that has a lot of character. To the outside eye, accounting can feel very meticulous and honestly, boring. We didn't want the logo to reflect that. In fact, we wanted to show the personality that this firm has.
